Marie Bourdon worked as a sommelier in Paris before moving to Arbois in 2015. She quit hospitality to immerse herself in making wine. For many years as the right hand woman for Raphaël Monnier from Ratapoil and in 2017 they started Avis de Tempête as a negoce project with a fifty fifty partnership.

Marie has now on her own acquired a small vineyard in Arbois planted with old Chardonnay and Savagnin vines from which she has made her first vinateg in 2019. 2019 was another year of frost in Jura and Marie’s total production was just one barrel!

 

Grapes are harvested manually, fermented with the wild yeast of the grapes and no sulfites is used in the production.
