In 2017, Avis de Tempête was created by Raphaël Monnier (Ratapoil) and his protégé Marie Bourdon as a reaction to the often very fluctuating grape yield that Jura has offered in recent years. 2017 was a year hard hit by frost, and the idea of a negoce project became a reality with the name 'Storm warning' as Avis de Tempête means.

The grapes are often bought from friends and often from different regions from year to year and this exciting selection of one off wines often includes experimental processes - pet nat, long macerations and grape varieties not normally seen in the Jura hills.

Marie and Raphaël harvest their own grapes manually and the wines are fermented with their wild yeast and the wines are without sulfites.
